Tyler brings a uniquely broad professional background to his work advising leaders and organizations on fundraising strategy and stakeholder engagement. His experience spans education, public service, finance, and advisory work, giving him a rare ability to understand how diverse institutions operate, how decisions are made, and how relationships drive outcomes across sectors.
Tyler has spent nearly a decade in education, as a teacher and coach in the classical liberal arts tradition. There he developed a deep appreciation for mentorship, discipline, and mission-driven leadership — a foundation that continues to inform his approach to relationship-building and long-term stewardship.
He later served in public service, working as a staffer in the United States Senate and with the Office of the Vice President. These roles immersed him in high-stakes environments where trust, discretion, and credibility are essential, and sharpened his understanding of policy, stakeholder dynamics, and the importance of clear, principled communication.
Tyler also brings private-sector experience from his time as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, where he counseled stakeholders on building and preserving wealth and grew his practice through disciplined outreach and relationship-driven results. That work — earning trust and producing outcomes in a demanding, performance-driven environment — translates directly to the capital raising and government relations advisory work he leads today.
At the heart of Tyler’s work — and of Logical Decorum Capital Strategies itself — stand the four cardinal virtues from which the firm draws its name and its purpose: Prudentia, Iustitia, Fortitudo, Temperantia. They are not ornamental. Prudence in counsel, justice in every dealing, fortitude under pressure, and temperance in judgment are the standards he holds himself to in each engagement — and what those who work with him can expect in turn.
